A pleasant London surprise
I imagined London hotel rooms to be small and overpriced so we were pleasantly surprised when we saw our room. It was spacious and nicely appointed, and at a lower price than I would have expected. It was reasonably convenient to the Underground and the theatre district, as well as the British Museum, though most other sites were a good walk.

Excellent hotel
Fab hotel. Lovely building, good location, good staff, bed to die for! Bar prices mad but no worse than similar hotels in London. Would love to return.
Two "English" pubs to the right of the hotel. SOOOOOOOOOO much cheaper!

Lovely hotel in a great location
We stayed at the Renaissance Chancery Court for a long 12th anniversary weekend in October 2009. A few details worth noting: - We found the hotel to be housed in a lovely building and our room was quite nicely furnished. - The hotel gym is quite adequate and includes treadmills, a few machines and a full set of free weights. - The bar has a good selection of wines. - The location in Holborn is extremely convenient to the Tube and puts you within walking distance (if you’re a New Yorker) of a good number of the sites you might like to visit.
