Adequate but thinks its much better than it is.
This is a perfectly adequate hotel which thinks its much better than it is and is accordingly overpriced. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The service is friendly and enthusiastic, but inflexible and not very customer focussed. The hotel and staff generally are perfectly adequate, however, it is presented, and priced, in a category higher than it actually achieves. In particular, The Bistro serves small servings of very ordinary food, quite fussily presented at an inflated price. Bistro service is decidedly lacklustre.

From this hotel take a five minute walk across the canal and river to the Nikolaiviertel district for numerous pleasant, good quality, reasonably priced restaurants.

Wonderful Location
The Art’Otel is located within walking distance of Alexander Platz and Museum Island. There is also a U-Bahn station right outside the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was modern, clean and comfortable.
