Wonderful hotel, just don’t request a taxi!

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We had a delicious dinner served in a lovely dining room on the first night, and the breakfasts on both mornings were extremely good. The bathroom could have done with a little attention - the handles on the bath and part of the floor needed to be repaired. Our room was very spacious, but it was noisy, and we were woken up throughout the night by other patrons returning to their rooms. Overall I would really recommend the hotel, just don’t ask the front desk to call you a taxi. We waited 40 minutes for one, only to find that our taxi had been waiting outside for a while, after having informed the front desk of their arrival.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

There is a beautiful cathedral right next to the hotel.

Good location had a good time

The Hotel staff are very good can`t do enough for you food is fantastic Hotel room that we were given was very poor looked tatty and sink in bathroom was broken badly noisey extractor fan and went on for to long very noisey at night windows need sorting to stop this and I think there should be some sort of discount for the car park as we stayed at the Hotel costs for that were £22.00 for two night a bit steep I thought.

There is plenty of night life here and wine bars and restaurants good for the wife to go shopping.

Just what we wanted

Friendly helpfull service on arrival. Hotel as described good leisure facilities, right on waterside and close to all city centre shopping. Both evening meal (dinner promo deal) and breakfast excellent, again with good service. Room clean and good facilities (exc remote on TV not working, did not complain only staying 1 night). Overall hotel "just what we expected and wanted" would revisit.
