Good Choice

Room is clean. Services is ok. The shuttle services is punctual. Location is convenient, as if you don’t want to take the shuttle, you can walk to/from Penn Station, coz it takes less than 10minutes to reach Penn Station. I think it is convenient for both leisure or business. Breakfast is really very simple, and everyday is exactly the same. You will get bored if you stay there 7days like us...

If you would like to have a comfortable stay while visiting Manhattan, i think this hotel is a good choice. Or else, you can choose to stay the hostel/motel in Manhattan, where the rate maybe cheaper, but not so comfortable. Or else, others 3stars hotel in Manhattan will be much more expensive.

Robert Treat is WONDERFUL

I always stay at this hotel. It’s familiar and has wonderful services. Parking is never an issue either and it’s really close to the subway to make getting into New York City even easier. It’s a great hotel to stay in and save money.

Good location for touring the area

Just returned from a 7 night stay at the hotel and found it to be an ideal base for travelling into New York and as far south as Philadelphia by using public transit. It is a 10 min walk from Penn Station, and found the direct walking route "safe" to walk, even at 05.00 in the morning, and returning from the station up to 23.00 at night. Wouldn’t be so sure about straying off the direct route at those times though.... Room comfortable and spacious with a distant view of Manhattan skyscrapers from the window. Caught the NJT "GO28" limited stop bus from EWR airport to the hotel which only cost $1.35, rather than use the train or the Hotel shuttle. PATH from Penn Station to Manhattan is the best (if somewhat crowded at times) way to get into NYC. Hopefully I’ll be staying there again.
