Clean, tidy, comfy - Bit far from city
Place is excellent.. Has a free bus to/from city every 15/30mins or so (With limited spaces) but not much of a problem. about a 10/15min drive from the Spanish steps (about 10euro by cab at night)

Duke Hotel - Definately go back there and recommend to friends.
The title says it all - couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. After a long tiring day in Rome it was a pleasure to return to a comfortable hotel where all the staff were very polite and helpful. English spoken staff. Excellent breakfast every morning. Best of all shuttle that took you into Rome :)

This hotel is the best kept secret in Rome!!!!
I had a work meeting to attend on a friday and it was also our anniversary so my husband and i decided to stay the weekend. We informed the hotel that it was our anniversary and they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite! The place was amazing! The rooms are spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, but getting to town by bus/metro/taxi is really fast and easy. I would not stay anywhere else in Rome! Honestly, this is the best kept secret in Rome - we went past some of the other hotels we were considering and were so thankful that we had chosen to stay at the Duke!
