A happy experience

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the reception and restaurant staff were most courteous and helpful. The only criticisms are; the bathroom floor suffered from a leak just by the wash basin and the hot water for breakfast tea was less than boiling, a small water heater in the dining room, for guests to help themselves, would obviate this problem.

Traveller's tip on dining

You can expect surly service and ’rip off’ prices at the Ristorante du Mario next to the Harley-Davidson showroom. Le Lampada in Via Quintino Sella is excellent for food, reasonable prices and friendly service.

good recommendation

very nice, clean, and modern hotel in nice location. a little far from the action but walkable or public transport nearby (metro, tour buses, etc). very polite staff

Traveller's tip on local attractions

I recommend the "on and off" tour bus which takes you everywhere and you can get on our off on your own schedule as they come every 15 minutes. Be prepared for extreme heat in Rome. Nice cafe with friendly staff right across street and down one block and two excellent restaurants just around the corner (turn left coming out of the hotel and take first left). We particularly enjoyed watching the folks wander in and out of the bath house next to the cafe across the street....
