Not impressed

Hotel staff helpful but seemed very suspicious of us. Early morning unsolicited call at 09:30 to remind us to be out of room by 10:00 am not appreciated - we knew what time we had to check out and indeed checked out at 09:50 am. Shabby furnishings in room - first room offered had no working bath room light so moved to another room which had a faulty smoke detector installed! Too tired to ask for move to another room. Hotel situated in noisy area and sound of sirens and fights outside constantly woke us - perhaps double glazed windows would be a good idea! Carpets in hotel very shabby and well worn. Only good thing was breakfast which was reasonable and served by a cheerful waitress.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

Very near to dodgy nightlife - not a place to walk around on your own at night.

BUDGET hotel - but central location

Central location but very basic room. Clean sheets and towels but decore (including curtains) and bathroom very worn and stained. One iron and ironing board for the whole hotel and your TV remote control is handed to you on arrival!
