Mediocre Hotel
Although our stay at the Kokopelli Suites is okay, i am not overly impressed. Since it’s our first time visiting Sedona we were not aware of the vast accommodation options in the surrounding the area. If I would go back to Sedona, this hotel would not be my first choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable but lacked character. And they really need to have more staff available. On the positive side the hotel itself is 5-10 minutes drive to hiking trails and scenic views. And if you go to "New Day Spa" you’ll get a 10% discount if you show them your hotel key. BOTTOM LINE: I would still recommend this hotel but i would also recommend shopping around before reserving.
A New Day Spa. It’s a quaint desert oasis. A great place to pamper yourself. Do call for reservation, for they can be quite busy. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommended, i would go back again and again.

TERRIBLE NIGHT
NO IN HOUSE PERSON ON DUTY.THERE IS AN ON CALL PERSON BUT DOES NOT LIVE INSIDE THE PREMISES. WE WAITED FOR 2 HOURS FOR OUR ROOM FROM 0400 TO 0600 BEFORE WE CAN GET TO A ROOM. BUT THANKS TO EXPEDIA MY PAYMENT WAS REFUNDED.

there is plenty of shopping and it is far enough away from the hotel so as not to be disturbing.
