Conchas Chinas Should Close......
This is not what we expected at all.. The reviews give this place too much credit. The rooms were small and hot, the staff refused to work most days but didnt hesitate taking their breaks or time off. The resturant food was fair at best however you had to ask for everything little thing to be served at the table. The showers were awful you may as well swimmed in your tub since the water wont drain and the plumber is on a 48 hour response time good luck on getting a manager to help you, everyone has a nice long title on their name tags but wont do JACK when it comes to making a decision about helping you, or fixing a maintanence problem. My adivce is to pass Conchas Chinas on your way to somewhere else you will be glad you did.

Lovely hotel
We arrived at the lobby at sunset and were blown away by the beautiful view of the sun setting over the bay. The room was very nice. The bathroom was beautiful and we had an unobstructed view of the bay from our balcony. The hotel is up on a hill just outside of teh center of town, but luckily there are two nice restaurants with great views in or next to the hotel and a convenience store nearby

Exactly what I wanted
The hotel is exactly as pictured in its online images. The king room with the jetted tub on the balcony is the way to go, the view is gorgeous. Traveled in August during low season and the place was quiet and tranquil. Just what I was looking for. The beautiful beach is steps from the hotel. The kitchenette was clean, and sparsely furnished but perfect for cooking up simple meals and snacks. The staff was friendly, the restaurant on site was moderately priced and served delicious food and drinks. I cant wait to go back! :-)
