Excellent value for money
Cartier Place Suites may be a bit tired and in need of some redecoration. However it is very conveniently located - about a ten minute walk to Parliament Hill - and our suite was clean and comfortable. Excellent value for a suite in a capital city. Secure underground car parking was also very good value.

Fantastic suite, cold pool!
The suite we stayed in was well equipped and very comfortable. It had really everything you need including oven, fridge, dishwasher etc. The main city centre was a bit of a walk but not too far and shouldn’t put you off. We parked the car at the hotel which cost about $20 a day so a bit pricey but nice and secure underground. The only real disappointment was the indoor heated pool which I’d suggest needs a bit more heat.

A very satisfied trraveler !
I was most satisfied with all aspects of the hotel from the moment I arrived ..which was around midnight. Because I had 2 heavy bags having just arrived from China, I needed help. Within minutes a gentleman arrived who kindly took charge of the baggage and to my surprise wasnot annoyed when I did not have proper currency to offer him as a token of appreciation. When I went out for a morning walk at 6 am , the young chap at the desk made sure there was a morning paper for me when I returned .All of these simple yet important (to a traveller)details make the difference between a mediocre and an excellent place to stay !
