A pleasant enough modern hotel

A pleasant enough hotel. There was a good choice at breakfast (which was included in the price for us), our room was well decorated in a modern style and very clean. The highlight was probably the sheer size of the bed! The staff seemed reasonably helpful, although we didn’t call on them much. They all spoke english and were more than happy to do so.

The hotel is well located for local nightlife. Corso Como, which adjoins the road the hotel is on, is buzzing at night time with many bars and on street dining outlets. It’s more alive at night time than in the daytime. None of this noise however can be heard from the hotel.

Mis-lead!

when looking for a hotel - i took into account that i needed to be close to the centre for my wife and it must have a pool for the children. Even though it said it had these two things, it did not!. The hotel was nice, even though it lacked an atmosphere, it dies not have a pool , instead they direct you to a local leisure centre. On the day we went it was closed!!!. Also the hotel is near the metro, which made my sife feel very uncomfortable and still over 20 mins walk to the centre. So.. we did not stay here. WAKE UP HAPPY? i dont think so.

couples fine - dont bother if youre a family

Enjoyed the hotel

Looks bad from outside but had a great stay. Room was fine, breakfast was ample with plenty of choices of hot and cold food. Located next to a metro stop. Staff were a bit cold in their attitude, maybe in keeping with the "cool" status of the hotel. I would stay there again.

Traveller's tip on dining

The canal is nice play to go for dinner, with lots of choices of restaurants.
