The B & T Experience !
The Hotel is in a brilliant location with easy access to all the main attractions Istanbul has to offer. The choices of restaurants within walking distances is fantastic. Public transport is very good with trams easy to understand. The Grand Bazaar has to be experienced for the sheer amount of people, the noise and smells - wonderful. A trip on the Bospherus is a must. The only down side for us was the price of wine, which is very expensive, even compared to London ! B & T Hudson
We went in November - a good time of year, not too hot not too cold !

Hotel Seres
This hotel is located close to the Blue Mosque by using the tram (taxi’s are a rip-off) stop 1 block away. The tram (1.5 euros) runs right outside the front door but does not disturb your sleep. Many shops and small restaurants very near by. The hotel is nothing special but clean, comfortable, local and reasonably priced.
Tip: get a map of the tram at the front desk and use the tram, get Turkey Lira from an ATM, never change Dollars with Taxi drivers or Vendors. Ask the cab fare before getting in and when buying things establish if your paying in Dollars, Euros, or Turkey Lira first. Weather was perfect!

Hotel staff was very helpful... Room was cleaned every day and even my clothes that were around the room were folded. My last night (3rd night) I called the front desk because the Air Conditioner was blowing HOT air. A man came and looked at it moved some things around and said it would be ok. It stayed hot all night but I dealt with it as I only had a few hours until I needed to leave for the airport. I did tell the desk the next day that the room was still hot, they said it would be fixed. Overall though the hotel stay was a good one.
