Not a Leisure Hotel
The Bull is a nice hotel in the middle of Peterborough, but that is the issue. Peterborough closes down when the shops close as 5PM and the streets are virtually deserted by 6PM. There are limited restuarants nearby. The Catherdral is wonderful and worth a trip.

Good Hotel - Hard to find the Car park - Ridiculous Breakfast Price
The Hotel was good, the room spacious, bathroom Large, and staff attentive. Centrally located it was perfect for our visit. Sadly the downside is the expensive (13 quid per person) breakfast! This is a ridiculous price. we wanted breakfast in bed, (relaxing after a wedding) and it would have cost 33 quid (inc tray charge).
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
For breakast - Go down the road for a 2.19 GBP large helping of Eggs on toast, straight through the mall opposite and there in 3 mins.

Right in the City Centre with a friendly welcome.
Excellent reception welcome, everyone smiled. Stayed for three nights. Location is perfect, close to everything, good car parking and food in restaurant is of excellent quality and value. House wine price is a bit above average. Very large bar seating area with a big selection of hot food available. Breakfast buffet was good and varied with drinks and toast being served to you. I would have liked bread rolls. Many reviews comment about the warm corridors. Dont blame the hotel, blame the fire escape door regulations not allowing through ventilation. There is no lift to the upper floor, so if a problem, you must mention this when booking. Had a refurbished air comditioned room with some of the largest and best quality towels I have ever had that were changed every day. One needs a Honours Degree in Science to try and operate the modern flat screen large TV, some simple instructions would have helped. Saturday night wedding parties can be a bit noisy but that is often the norm with larger hotels now. A very good centre for exploring The Fens by foot, car, bus or train. I will certainly go again.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you use the Satnav to reach the hotel, make sure you programme it to the correct road name for the car park entrance at the rear. There are some very good longer bus trips available from the nearby Bus Sation and if you have a bus pass, they are free!
