Best Breakfast in Berlin
We were very happy with the hotel, we were given an apartment in the annex which was very roomy, comfortable, with a small kitchen with a kettle for an early morning cup of tea in bed. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in any hotel, the choice was endless, there was even homemade jam. On the whole the Hotel was very well run, the receptionist all spoke English and everyone was very helpful. Even though the Hotel was 5 miles outside Berlin, the underground station was only a short walk and the 171 bus to Hermenstat stopped outside the Hotel. There were a couple of Restaurants a short walk again from the Hotel with very reasonable prices and good food. Well worth a visit.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get a daily group (if more than two people) travel ticket for 15 Euros and travel on the underground, train and buses. The service is fantastic.

Inexpensive and clean
Although it’s not the most convenient location being situated halfway between Schonefeld airport and the centre of Berlin it’s cheap, clean and the staff are friendly. It’s relatively easy to get to from the city on the U7 U-bahn line (Zone B) but if you are coming from the airport it is a 30 minute bus ride (Bus 172). I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget who’s not fussed about staying in the centre of Berlin.

Clean and decent hotel in Berlin
Nice and clean hotel. Hotel in very good condition. The rooms are pretty large and confortable, but there’s no air conditioning in the the room. It’s not in the city centre, but it’s near an underground station, which will take to Berlin city centre in about 15 minutes. If you are arriving in Berlin Schonefeld airport, make sure to take the bus to Rudow station (line U7) and from there take the underground to Grenzalle. This will make you arrive in less than 30 minutes!
