Very welcoming
We arrived for two nights in Johannesburg and were made very welcome at the Rosebank Hotel. My children were delighted with the modern design and breakfast buffet.

I cannot stress enough how great and accomodating the staff were. I loved satying at the Rosebank Hotel.

Hotel not ready for travelers
This hotel has undergone a recent renervation to bring it up to a 5 star quality. They opened the hotel before it was completely ready for occupancy. Elevators didnt work, phones didnt work etc. What worked was extremely good. But to pay 5 star prices for a hotel that was not up that service level was disappointing. If I had not prepaid, I would have asked for a partial refund, or I would have changed hotels. It may be OK now.
