We would definitely return
Excellent location. Good shops/Supermarket in the vicinity. Very good appartment, well equipped with large balcony with table and chairs at the rear of the building, so very quiet at night. Good location for Bastille day celebrations (7 minutes on foot). Buses and metro nearby. We stayed 7 nights and it was very good value for money in Paris.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We would recommend a canal boat trip, departing 10 minutes from hotel. 69 bus stop outside hotel; this will take you to the Seine, the Louvre, near the Eiffel Tower, and Left bank. Metro station 2 minutes from hotel.

Very nice hotel
A very nice hotel located down the street from the opera and the Bastille. I definatly plan on staying there again.

Decent value for the money
We stayed at the hotel because a friend was also staying there. While the sofa bed in the studio apartment was not the most comfortable and while there was street noise to contend with, there was also air conditioning on a very hot day and with the windows closed the street noise was tolerable. The staff was English speaking and reasonably friendly. The location was very central and close to a metro stop. It was nice having a small kitchen in the room and the bathroom was clean! Considering that Paris is a rather expensive city, I thought the hotel was a good value for the money spent and I would recommend the hotel to others.
