4 Day Stay
This was a nice hotel with friendly staff, the only bad point was that its so far from anywhere there was only one small bar and a restaurant in the area its a long way down the Island of Lido and the directions to the hotel were poor its about Eight stops on a bus to get to it and its the forth stop in the same area so you can get off at the wrong stop at first. In the futer if we are going back to Venice we will try to stay in the Main town of Lido as its very close to the Water Taxis to Venice Lido was a nice Island and only Twenty Minutes by Water Taxi into Venice we would stay there again But not in this Hotel as its too far from the town and it dus not offer the Service I expect from a Fore Star Hotel. However if you want a Quiet place to stay with Friendly Staff then I would recommend it as the Bus service in Lido is Top notch
Traveller's tip
if you are staying Three days or more by a travel pass it covers all Buses and the main water Taxis its Thirty one Euros for a seventy two hour pass twenty for Euros for a forty eight hour pass and twelve Euros for the twenty fore hour Pass Each

A great place to stay...
Dont be put off by the location of this place - travelling around Venice is really very easy, and the waterbus between main Venice and Lido runs every few minutes (the journey on the waterbus is a highlight in itself :) ). The bus runs from the waterbus terminal, and is a simple, straightline 10 minute ride. The hotel is in a residential area - there is a restaurant around the corner, a bar and a couple of shops too. We ate near the waterbus terminal - lots of restaurants along the main road to the beach, and very nice too. Also an advantage because you dont pay the higher prices on Lido that you easily can in main Venice... Hotel itself was nice - big rooms, TV, wifi for a small charge, and breakfast was a good opportunity to fill up too :) Nice people, nice area, easy to get everywhere - recommended :)

Old World Charm
If you would like to visit Venice without having to stay in the hustle and bustle of the the city, then can I recommend a stay at either the Ca Del Borgo or its sister hotel Ca Alberti.Situated on the Lido in the village of Malamocco, these hotels are perfect for anyone who appreciates authentic, unpretentious old world charm. The location on first impression may not appear to be suitable for a short stay in Venice, but believe me with the transport network you are literally 35 mins away from hotel doorstep to St Marks square. The hotel staff are very friendly and will go out of thier way to make sure your trip is pleasurable.I will definitely be returning!
Traveller's tip
Buy a tourist pass at the Lido when you arrive it will cover you for all buses and vaparetto rides during your stay(upto 72 hours). If you wish to try some authentic Italian cuisine then visit the fish restaurant round the corner from the hotel. They do not have a fixed or priced menu, but the food is inexpensive and delicious!
