Ideal for a stay in the centre of town
This was the second time I’d been to this hotel, and I enjoyed it this time as much as the first. The staff were not merely professional, but friendly (not something I find often) - especially the bar staff. The room was a little basic, but was clean and had everything I needed. The bar was very nice, and I spent most nights in there with a book and a glass of wine. The only quibble I had was that the hotel literature in the room stated that they exchanged travellers cheques at the front desk, but when I showed up at the desk with my cheque I was told they don’t do it. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s right in the centre of town and a short walk to pretty much anywhere. Wiill certainly be staying here next time I’m in Reykjavik.

More than impressed for a 3 star hotel
Extremely pleasant stay, peaceful nights, no noise, and everything sparkling clean. Reception staff were really friendly, courteous, reliable and helpful with whatever you asked from them, and made you feel very welcome and at home. Room had all you needed, I would certainly go back there. Only thing against it was the TV channels, they could do with having some more good channels available, but since you’re hardly in the room only when it’s time to retire to bed, that is insignificant and not important.

Nice hotel - good service, good price
The people at reception were friendly and knowledgeable. They were helpful with booking tours. I would stay there again if I was in Reykjavik.
