Traveller's tip for business travellers
Check arrangements for pick up at the airport # somewhat chaotic arrivals procedure. From March 2008 the "old" airport only 10 km out of the centre will be replaced by a new airport some 40km from town and driving times (never good in Bangalore) could go from the current 12-15 minutes in the early morning to 90 minutes in rush hour. Remember to carry emergency toilet paper if you are going to use anything but the European standard hotels and restaurants ~ otherwise it could be difficult.
