Conveniently located near Trinity and Pearse Rail Station
I stay at the OCallaghan Alexander during business trips to Ireland. It is very convenient to Trinity College, and within easy walking distance of a number of good restaurants, the shopping district and Pearse railway station.
Save on taxi fare to and from the hotel. The AirCoach stop is conveniently close to the hotel.

Great Location
We stayed at the Alexander for week while visiting Dublin. The hotel was clean and a nice place to come back to after long days of sightseeing. The location was ideal: very close to many things, restaurants, attractions, but far enough away to offer a restful place at night. Neighborhood is safe. Great access to buses. Staff was very helpful with guiding us on day trips. Cant wait to go back.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Utilize the knowledge of the front desk staff as they are familiar with which tours are better than others. "Hop-on-Hop-off" bus, and the Dublin Pass are a great combo for taking in the major stops of Dublin.

Expected more
In general seem to be really nice hotel with spacious room and good breakfast. However, the air conditioning was really noisy (had to turn it off), TV system is a bit annoying and location could have been a bit closer to the city centre.
