Good service & Great holiday but...
My partner and I stayed at the Allegro Oasis in October this year, the hotel was OK. A bit run down around the edges the carpets in the hall ways for example where filthy and had quite a few ex-cockroaches dotted over the floors. The lobby, bars and resteraunt areas were fine and the all inclusive food and drink options weren’t bad at all. Our room was basic but generally clean and tidy and the bathroom was relatively new which I think is important. The pool areas were all good and a sandy beach was just behind the hotel. For the money we paid I feel it was great value and I would stay there again.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
The hotel entertainment wasn’t brilliant and theres no market shops at night within walking distance (my misses likes those). So you can hop in a taxi and go down to "The Town Centre" for about 3 - 5 Euros. There are also lots of resteraunts and bars there too.

Large family friendly, all-in hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this largest of hotels on Costa Teguise. Hire car was very useful although taxi’s to Costa Teguise centre and beaches cheap and easy to get hold of. Staff efficient and friendly enough if not as congenial as those at some other hotels we have used in Greece and Turkey for example. Food was of a good standard for a large all-in hotel, available throughout the day and the bars provided an excellent range of all-in drinks up to 11.30pm. Evening entertainment was of an excellent standard every night. Excellent pools with plenty of sunbeds (more fetched out on request by attendant when all occupied)although no-one seemed to take a blind bit of notice of the house rules regarding not reserving sunbeds! A bit loud around the pool at times during competitions and entertainment and always lots of young children about. Not for those who are looking for a quiet break away from ankle-biters! The beach is very small, across the road and without sunshades or sunbeds.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The coach trip aroung the Timanfaya volcanic park is a must as is the view point at Mirador del Rio. We also made a last minute visit to the Manrique centre which we were glad not to miss.

Hotel comes up trumps
We had read some mixed reveiws of this Hotel and with some trepadation arrived on 25/2/07. To our relief apart from the worn carpets in the communial areas and a view of the processing plant to the far right of the hotel we were extremely pleased with the standard of the room/balcony which were huge.Cleanliness was first class.Staff were very efficient and friendly and the restaurant,bars and pool facilities were very good. All inclusive was great give the Hotel a try.
Try the South tour of the island it was great especially the Fire Mountain Route and El Golfo.
