Wonderful as always
Lovely hotel! The staff are friendly, the rooms quiet and spotless, the spa is empty and well maintained. The hotel is built round a semi-circular atrium with glass lifts in the middle so it all feels very airy. The rooms out to the back have a lovely view out over the leafy suburbs and hills. The restaurant/bar is very good and the underground parking facilities (charged separately) have plenty of spaces. Oh, and for the ladies, there’s a handily sited shopping mall just steps away.

Best quality hotel in Jena
Upside - The Steigenberyer is well positioned with easy access to the town centre’s facilities. It is at the "top end of the budget scale" for hotels in Jena. The hotel is clean and very well presented and the staff are very good. Downside - Breakfast and internet access (as in many places in Germany) are expensive.
