Great location
We visited Cologne by the end of October. The room was comfortable, the personnel was very courteous. Very good breakfast in the morning. The hotel is well located. If I come back to Cologne, I will use the same hotel.
I found this city not as expensive as others in Europe. The taxi rides are cheap but you can use the public transportation or walk specially along the parks. The people was very nice and most of them speak English.

Fantastic staff great location nice room but
As the title says the staff are very helpful they Booked taxis and even printed out our boarding cards. The rooms are in good condition with quality fixtures especially in the bathroom, though bear in mind the single rooms are quite small. My only gripes are that the pillow is pretty useless being like a bin bag filled with a handfull of feathers. The rooms are very hot in summer even with the windows open as there is no AC or ventilation. I’m sure this could be addressed though. Top Tips are get Free wifi in the foyer dont pay in the room. Taxi to Bonn Airport was under 30 Euros. Head towards the Dom or Rhine for a nice meal al fresco.

Too LOUD! Club on the ground floor!!!
The Hotel is stuck slightly away from the centre but on a busy main street that is full with cars during the day and full with VERY LOUD drunk revellers during the night until the early hours. What makes it worse is that the ground floor of the hotel is also a Club that plays VERY LOUD music until 02:30 - 03:00 in the morning. Staff is friendly but can’t help at all. So, if you want to be partying until the early morning and climb into your room without a taxi ride, it is the hotel for you, but if you want to sleep at night, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
