Like a visit to Crossroads Motel
Where to start? Well the Atlas Hotel is pleasant enough, but I wouldnt recommend it to a friend or an enemy. On arrival the gardens are unkempt and in need of weeding and lawnmowing. The reception area is very 80s but the staff were top notch. Our room was on the 7th floor, no aircon meant opening with the windows, which meant lots of noise as this hotel is in the middle of a road intersection. Room fittings old and tired, bathroom is from the 70s and sink/bath didnt empty as normal, during a shower the water was up towards my knee. Find somewhere else to stay, I was only there 1 night, if it’d been more i’d have left and looked for somewhere better.

Good hotel for the Swiss German French Border
I stayed here on a motorcycling trip and booked through Expedia. It is ideally paced in Germany just over the border from Switzerland. Clean and with a good reasonable restaraunt. Ideal place to stop after a long drive down through Germany before going onto Switzerland.

Too Far Out Of Basel
This is an average hotel of a three star standard. The rooms need updating, although the price probably reflected this. Main problem is it is too far out of Basel and not convenient for public transport. Mainly used by those with a car who are coming off the motorway. Factor daily taxi cost of 20 Euros into the cost of the stay.
