Asthma sufferers stay away from this hotel

Nice enough hotel in some respects but - had to wait a long time at reception to check in even though there were 6 or 7 members of staff wandering around doing nothing. Reception and the corridors of the hotel were overwhelming us with some really strong scent (possibly sandalwood) which would have been a killer for someone with asthma as it was choking me! Otherwise the decor was oppressive for the size of room (very small) but the room was very clean and comfortable for one night.

Not impressed

Room small and cramped, especially the en suite. Restaurant expensive and short menu. Breakfast menu expensive. Result was restaurants empty with no character
