Great hotel, great location
Location was brilliant, walking distance to most places of interest. Hotel situated in trendy area of Sodermalm. Underground stops are very close too. The hop on, hop off tourist bus stop is right outside the hotel which was really handy. Hotel was lovely, upgrading to have the breakfast is a must - it is absolutely first class. Had seen the reviews about the huge step over to get into the bath and didn’t think it would be an issue - but it was very big and could cause problems for people who have restricted mobility. We upgraded to an executive king room which was a good size with great views. We would definately return to this hotel.

Noisy and too hot
I am sure that there are better rooms in the hotel... there must be, and to be fair, my wife slept well. I couldn’t sleep at all, due to a constant noise, that sounded to me like the closing of a sliding door, somewhere below me. I think it was probably traffic noise, as it increased in frequency in the morning. The outside temperature was about 8C, but I could not get the room cool enough to be comfortable. I’d go back, but I would not stay on the first floor
Go high up, don’t take a room on the first floor

Hilton Slussen a great spot in a great city
The hotel is comfortable and efficient and sits with a wonderful view of the water towards Central Stockholm. Walking distance to Old Town and not a bad walk to the Central Station. Very efficient and helpful staff. Got a great rate including breakfast, and the breakfast was first rate.
