Great choice in central Oslo
I have stayed at the Scandic Oslo Kna a number of times and have always been very pleased with the hotel. The location is great, right next to the National Theatre Train Station and away from the chaos of Karl Johan’s Gate. The rooms are comfortable and have refrigerators, free WiFi and televisions with pay-per-view movies (which I didn’t try). The breakfast is always good. The only negative experiences I had this time were the following: - I stayed on 2 occasions during this trip. The second time, I had a room on the 6th floor and the WiFi signal was very weak, too weak to use. - Sunday morning breakfast at 10:15 a.m. (they stop serving at 11) was crazy and they were having trouble keeping up with the demand so they kept running out of food, coffee, etc.

A small gem
My single room was small and narrow, with a courtyard view, but was clean, quiet & well appointed with very comfortable furniture and bed. The shower was excellent. There’s a useful 24 hour shop in reception. The included breakfast provided a large range of very good food. The hotel is well situated to the West of the city centre.
