Very nice!
Very nice stay... one night only. Nevertheless the Frances Hotel is a real diamond; no doubt you’ll find the patio amazing. The room was big, pleasant and clean, the only thing that was not perfect: a lazy shower drain...We didn’t have dinner so I can not write anything about the restaurant or the bar but both looked great and had live music that evening; excellent breakfast in the morning. To make a short story even shorter, a one night stay to remember, a place to visit again.

Perfect!
Hotel Frances was everything and more... it was ideal from the service to the romantic feel of the hotel!! Everthing you would want in a 16th century hotel!The breakfast was awesome too!

Please be open minded to the culture and people, try the food on the streets, go to the grocery stores and see their products... the butter, bread, and cheese are so much better!!! People are simple and have litte but the some of the happiess people I had ever meet!!!

Charming but not great.
The check in and out was very fast and the front desk personnel were very attentive. The were few things they should improve: 1.Breakfast wasn’t good (they need to get a better Chef, and have more variety. Poor selection and juices taste bad. 2.Service for the breakfast area: it’s a buffet, I just saw the waitress once,and never saw him/her again, I didn’t leave tip, b/c they didn’t do anything for me. 3.No iron in the room you have to ask for it. (kind of annoying) 4.They offer Wi-fi and internet, but the PC they have on-site, is old and slow. Good Things: 1.Front Desk service outstanding. (receptionist, bell boy) 2.parking very very good and safe. 3.location (near all the colonial zone area) 4.I got to the hotel late at night and the security service was always alert. I think the hotel is overall ok, good for in and out, but really not great to stay there too long. looks charming.. but if they want to step out and stand out from other hotels in the city, they need to improve what I said above.
