Good hotel, good location
Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly. You can’t go wrong staying in this hotel, walking distance from station and main shopping area

Can’t fault it!
A very comfortable modern hotel in the heart of Basel, close to tourist/shopping district. Excellent buffet breakfast. Not very far from train station and airport bus (I walked).

Comfortable shabby chic
Hotel was pretty convenient location (within 10 min walk of main station). Arrived a bit late to check in and missed out on a standard room - had to have a suite :-) Very comfortable - bigger than my apartment almost! Customer Service was really good. If I had to say something less than positive it’s that the room could do with some updating - some of the furnishings have defintely seen better days (threadbare couches, etc) and we were surprised that a "double" room is two single beds pushed together, but later learned that this is fairly standard in Switzerland. While the price was fair, I would look for cheaper options in future, but would definitely consider staying there again.
