Update on SAS Radisson, Oslo Airport
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. I was somewhat disappointed this time, as it seems they have lowered their previously high standard. The room was looking a little worn, and the breakfast was less than good. In the past it too was outstanding.

You Choose
If you choose a four star hotel, this isn’t it. No bathmat, one thin towel, a washcloth,and ugly decor. If you choose convenience, this is it. So close to the airport that you can walk across the street and up to your room with the airport luggage cart. Left too early to know about breakfast, but room service for supper was quick and good.

Excellent Quality Service and Facility
Radisson Blu is next door to the airport, easy to find and has excellent rooms and adequate facilities, incl. meeting facilities. Personnell are pleasant and helpfull and service is as should be expected at this cost. The restaurant and selection is unfortunately somewhat limited, and the dishes unfortunately have the unmistakeable ’Norwegian Hotel Taste’, so do not expect a culinarian experience. But then the airport train is next door and a trip in to Oslo only takes 19 minutes. A nice place to stay (stay out of the smoking rooms though) with nice and efficient service and well kept facilities.
Take the airport train in to Oslo city center if you have an evening, and eat there.
