Quiet hotel in quiet neighbourhood

The hotel is situated quite a way out of the centre of the city but is only 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station so not really a problem and the metro is cheap and easy to use. Hotel was small with a very friendly front desk and excellent english spoken. Room was decent size but wasnt as clean as it should have been. I dont think it had been vacuumed before i checked in. Buffet breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate.

Simple accommodation in Prague

This hotel is inexpensive let’s start with that. However, the staff are extremely helpful and will help with anything you may need during your stay. It is well located about 20 mins by tram 17/24 from the centre 17 stops right on Karlov Most (Charles Bridge) and 24 to Wenceslas Square, at 100KC for a day ticket (multiple use for 24 hrs) Only problem was finding the hotel on arrival so pay attention to the map and it’s easy. Don’t study the map and you’ll have trouble

Value at two-star prices for the adventrous

You will find it difficult to beat this hotel on value & price - but you need to be a keen long distance public transport user. It is on the city map - but only just on the top right hand corner. It is a good metro ride out from the cente but the station is a walkable distance from the hotel. Trams (including the all-night 53) provide an alternative means of travel. The hotel is far from new but the rooms were clean and the plumbing worked. Breakfast had a full range of choices to set you up for the day. Reception is not 24 hours. Night cover is provided from a hotel 10 mins walk away: this is not good news if your key card fails to operate and there is confusion when using the night-time communications system at the entrance door. Distant receptionist was most helpful once we found her and the limited available options were considered.
