Newcastle’s Gem
Access from Car Park to Hotel is difficult with luggage. Once there, however, excellent. Bedrooms stunning.

Not a Bad House
Great location with a quirky atmosphere. Millenium bridge view spoilt by dirty windows! Restaurant service friendly, wine list impressive, food well cooked but pricey. Would have preferred to have rewarded service ourselves rather than have an item stuck on the bill. Breakfast disappointing - what happened to the museli?

A contemporary choice...
the people at MalMaison have taken a good look at the ’hotel business model’ and really changed some things that have always got on my nerves: - Completely free broadband - Full restaurant menue as room ervice - Thoughtfully stocked mini-bar - Fantastic beds - Breakfast buffet that doesnt feel like ’mass catering’ Just a bit more attention to service at breakfast time would be good - things running out with no one taking responsibility for ’filling up’
