It was just an OK facility.
I would stay there again because I would plan on spending much time in the room. Great location just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants.

Nice Value for the Price
The Abbey Hotel is a nice value for the price. Aside from the manager, staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was stocked with bottled water as well as each floor of the hotel having the availability of sparkletts-like water. The hotel was very clean and walking distance from the gay beach and gay area of town. While air conditioning was present in the room, it struggled to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were hard. There is a pool on the premises but it closes at 9pm. The spa did not work. The hotel is dated. Don’t expect the Ritz. For the price point, the hotel is a decent value.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
The hotel recommends a travel service to get you from the airport to the hotel. It is cheaper to just get a taxi at the airport.
