Charming with breathtaking view

This is not a ’luxury’ hotel, but a wonderful experience nonetheless. The floor to ceiling city and ocean view made my heart sing :) But you will hear everything going on in the town below, including loud disco music until the wee hours of the morning -might be good to bring earplugs. And some mornings the hot water was sketchy, but the weather was so warm i didn’t need it. There is a handy stairway of stone steps that take you down to town and malecon. All in all, I loved it :)

very convenient

Although I had to pay for internet (one of my pet peeves) I liked the convenience of the hotel, it was cute and quaint and I would definitely stay there again, the price was great and the view perfect. Only real downside is the only place to get food was the top floor restaurant which wasn’t open during the day. Parking was free and that was a huge plus.

Perfect Escape

I agree that the the steps, especially after 4 days got to be a drag, trudging up after a day at the beach, but the views, the pool and the quiet of the hotel were worth it. Balcony was great to sit and watch the city and ocean. Restaurant on top floor was great for dinner or drinks.

Traveller's tip on dining

Si Senor halfway down the steps was a great restuarant, a little pricey but excellent food and service, also Jennifer’s down the hill was great also. Bite me on the beach by Blue Chairs was a great way to spend a day laying out and drinking.
