Ottowas Best
I like to stay active when I travel. The Minto Suite hotel has an outstanding 25 meter pool and sauna. Both were much appreciated following a long trip. My room was clean and convenient to my conference. I would definitely stay at the Minto Suite Hotel again.

Contemplating never going back
No heat first night as thermostat was not working and it froze outside. Also internet you pay for daily $10. not able to log on in my suite, it was situated in a corner of the building that did not pick up the signal, I had to go out in hallway. Also a large loud function on friday night directly below my suite, they turned it down at 10:30 pm so I could sleep, next day I had a 7 hr. flight home early. Staff very obliging and courteous and corrected what they could, like the heat problem, unfortunately I arrived late and did not realize how cold it was, I kept waking during the night as it was freezing. Next day they told me I should have complained and they would have come up right away, but when you are in pjs and exhausted from travel all day you do not think of calling during the night.

First choice for when I am in Ottawa.
The location is ideal, in the heart of downtown Ottawa between Slater and Laurier. The staff were professional and accommodating. I stayed in a good sized suite where I could cook. The suite was very clean, and I had my own washer and dryer which was ideal and economical for my lengthy stay. The price was as good if not better than any of the other hotels in the area, almost all of which I have previously stayed at. I have now stayed at The Minto three separate times. When I am in town it is my first choice for hotel.
