GOOD PLACE

THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN

It was falling apart

The bathtub had cigarette burns on it, the lid on the toilet tank had been previously broken and was badly glued together, the sink was falling out of the cabinet, and water took about 30 minutes to drain from the tub. The beds were comfortable enough, it was in the middle of an industrial area, so it was safe I guess. The price was cheap, but still too much for this room.

It’s ok

It was very quite and peaceful. Bathrooms were clean and the pool was very clean. Excellent for the kids. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing is...make sure you call close to 1 or 1:30am if you are going driving in and going to have a late check in. You may call at 10, but the messages do not get relayed at the desk. Continue to call.

Heater didn’t work. Cigarette stains on tub. Needed paint and refurbishing.

Pleasantly surprised

I’m usually looking for a nice, clean place to stay when traveling. Other amenities are normally considered a nice surprise. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The beds were a little uncomfortable.

Very close to Galveston. For a last minute place to stay on a Friday night during peak tourist season, I found this to be an exceptional value.

The hotel left a little to be desired

The rooms left a little to be desired....such as general housekeeping and freshening up. Beds were very uncomfortable. The sink and tub drains were clogged and weren’t undrained when requested. Housekeeping was very slow (our room didn’t get cleaned until 4:00 in the afternoon) and the front desk clerk at check in was not very friendly or customer-friendly. When we arrived, we asked if we could check in early. She said that we needed to return in an hour. When we returned three hours later, she told us which would be our room, but that it still wasn’t ready. She said we could use the pool, which was right by our room. After swimming for a few hours, during which time NO ONE ever went into our room, our room was miraculously ready. And...the pool was never cleaned while we were there and the filters weren’t turned on. Knowing that there are plenty of other hotels in the area, I would recommend friends/family check out other hotels before staying here.

Very impressed

We were kind of leary since we got such a great deal on the rooms but we were definately pleasantly suprised! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The hotel appears to be in a safe neighborhood, we all felt safe. Since we went to both Kemah and Galveston it was a great location for us; midway between both. I would definately stay there again and highly recommend it.

The hotel was ok. They seemed to be a bit short-staffed. There was a shortage of towels when I wanted one, but I could have got it later. They had waffles in packages and I prefer the machine that is becoming common. The location was pretty good. All in all, it was ok.

Very good place to stay

Every one at the hotel was nice and helpful. From the front desk to housekeeping. The hotel was in a very convenient location for what we wanted to do (go to the beach and go to Kemah Boardwalk.) It is definitely a place I would return to.

Nice place

This hotel was a great place to stay for one night. It is located within a short distance of several restaurants and shops. My only complaint is that the bathtub was starting to rust out around the drain.

Good value

This hotel was a good value for us. 15 minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk where we ate the night before and 15 minutes from Galveston where we went to the beach the next day. It was also pet friendly so we could bring our dog with us. I recommend it.

Nothing extra

The room was clean, but overall the hotel was disappointing for a La Quinta. Over priced compared to others in the area. breakfast was nothing special, everything from plastic wrappers
