Avoid the 3rd floor if you have luggage!
We stayed here based on other reviews, but we were dissapointed.We were on the third floor,but the elevator only goes to the second floor. Getting there late at night and having to haul our suitcases up to the 3rd floor was not a great way to start.The hot water was so hot it made showering difficult.On the other hand my in-laws were on the first floor, in the last room, it was a bit of a maze to get to. They had NO hot water.On the positive side. There were 3 functions going on one night which made the parking rediculous, but the staff were very helpful with that, we left the keys at the front desk & they took care of it. The women at the front desk were wonderful, always friendly and helpful.

Excllent Find
This place is a bargain and was probably my favorite hotel out of our 2.5 months of traveling Europe. The hotel is perched up on a hill in Cork, overlooking the city. We had a 2nd floor room with a balcony that overlooked the city and it was gorgeous. The room itself was beautifully decorated with all the amenities of a quality hotel. The free internet in the room worked great and there is ample parking out front. It’s about a 20 minute walk down the hill into the center of town, but the view is totally worth the extra distance from the town. Room service doesn’t charge any extra, so you can have dinner or breakfast in your room for a reasonable price. Great place, great location, great price, wonderful experience. Would make a special trip again to Cork just to stay here.
