pictures of hotel dont reflect how small it is
hotel very small, but in good position to see Milan. Breakfast very dissapointing, very little selection of food and dining area so small, we had to queue for a table and one morning could not get a table for four and our party had to split up.
check baggage charges before you book, can be quite a surprise at the airport

Clean and good location, but nothing to write home about
The Ariston was centrally located to the Duomo and the more affordable shopping district, but not near any notable restaurants. Rooms are small, but relatively comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is plentiful, but not the best I had in Italy. Service was pretty good. Front desk was helpful in transportation matters, but not in restaurant recommendations.

Great location and good value
This hotel is a very good option for a weekend break in milan. theres not much in the hotel, andis relatively basic and no frills, but as a base to explore the city its fantastic. Its in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Duomo and the fashion shops. and right beside the Navigli area which is great for lively restaurants and night spots. If you want to be pampered in a hotel I wouldnt go hear. But as a base to explore Milan on foot, its a gret value option.
Id walk down to the Navigli district. Its a very nice walk (5-10 minutes at a stroll) and has a great feel of real Milan about it. Good value too.
