Needs some customer service improvements
The first room they gave us, was suppose to be lakeview deluxe, it was more street view with a side view of the lake. I requested a specific room I saw was vacant and they did move us. The room itself was nice. However the room service and the concirege service left a lot to be desired. Wake up calls were not given at all, the towels were not refreshed on 2 days and the room did not bring our luggage down as directed and the tour bus had to make a return trip to the hotel.

Worth every penny!
Skeptical at first because of the price - we found this hotel worth every penny! Within walking distance from the train but local transportation also available,.. directly on the lake.. the most comfortable beds, beautiful room, nice view even though we weren’t facing the lake... the list goes on. A wonderful place to stay.

"Great hotel in a great location"
Montreax is stunning and so is this hotel. The staff are very helpful especially the concierge who helped find me a dentist when a problem arose. Breakfast was very good if a little expensive.
Get a Swiss rail pass and travel around. This allows you trips up the lps on the little trains.
