Great Hotel Shame About The Service
2nd visit here and the views never stop being amazing. The hotel is in a great place and has real charm. What a shame virtually every member of the staff were miserable and there is no atmosphere because of this. It is no wonder that you can spend a week here and hardly see anyone using the facilities, even though you know they are there because you see the cars come and go. The pool only opens for a short season and was closed from the second week in September crazy at 30 degrees. Without the pool there are much better choices here.
Traveller's tip on dining
Get into the old town and away from the main square for a change. The food is more authentic and service much better.

nice older hotel near centre
older hotel but well maintained Lovely room with private terrace (too large to be a balcony) overloooking the superb garden and view across valley 10 minutes walk (uphill) from centre of Ronda, car parking a little restricted due to building work Not the cheapest hotel but very nice indeed

Absolutely wonderful old hotel - great location on the gorge - updated rooms - beautiful grounds - AND free wifi in the lounge.
