Keep looking unless you are a minimalist.
Marginal hotel in terms of comfort, maintenance etc. Location is ok; close, but not on beach. Passable breakfast but nothing remarkable. Shower in bath was extremely small. Nearby four star Porto Naxos looks much nicer.

We found Butlins in Naxos!!!!!
What you read on the website about this hotel & what you get are 2 completely different things. We were so disappointed, we checked out early & found another hotel. Where do I start? Firstly our double bed was 2 singles. The whole camp is filled with screaming children, it is essentially only geared for German families with children. The walls are paper thin, the guy above us took a dump at 3am and then spent the next hour coughing his cigarette filled lungs out. Just great when you are looking for a quiet nights sleep. You awoke to the sound of kids yelling at around 7am. The only good thing was the breakfast, but that is a bun fight at the best of times and I was shoved sideways a few times (I am 7 months pregnant) in order for some guy with a bigger stomach than mine to get to his bread and cheese. I was really disappointed with this hotel. It is in a good location, but is so close to a major road, that the noise of the cars passing is louder than a main road in London. It is close to the beach, but be warned, you would need to get up at sunrise to book yourself an umbrella and lounger - just not what is called for on a relaxing holiday. If you are sporty, have loud action filled kids, are agressive and love a good fight over the breakfast table, this is the hotel for you. If you want to have a peaceful holiday, enjoy the Greek atmosphere, amazing greek food and hospitality, then get on the next bus out of Naxos Beach 1 and head to another part of the coast.
We rented a car from the lovely lady at EuropCar and she recommended we visit Koronos, in the mountains and have lunch at Matinas Taverna. It was amazing, a highlight of our holiday (if you can find it!)
