Pleasant hotel and staff

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Eg. I phoned a week before my visit to request a babysitter. One was arranged, with the hotel calling me back, on an international call, within the hour.

Great find

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to the main part of Dublin but not too close to be disturbed by noise. Very clean, good food & bar. Made to feel welcome.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Go on the city tour bus. The yellow bus with the live commentary had us laughing all round Dublin. The local knowledge & ad lib Irish humour made for a great ride...and a rest from shopping!

We had 2 days without electricity no hot shower no hot water and no hot breakfast and nobody told us

We had 2 days without electricity no hot shower no hot water and no hot breakfast and nobody told us what was going on. and even worse the rooms we’re cold and freezing we understood. We we’re told that when this happens it’s beyond our control and the management didn’t even offer any reduction in our bill, which I believe is disgraceful.
