Hotel worth a visit
This is the first time that we have stayed in this hotel, we could not fault it at all. We would definately go back, excellent food and service. This hotel caters for all ages.

Family friendly
I have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times now as it’s handy for the mountain. However, I have always found the hotel to be cold especially the bedrooms which have insufficient heating. Some parts of the hotel are very nice but other areas are tired and need modernising. The dining room was very busy and people had to wait lengthy periods for service. Having paid for evening meal and breakfast it’s clear the evening meal is budgeted but the breakfast is more than adequate. The main attractions of this hotel is the location to the mountain, the relaxed family friendly approach and the extremely helpful staff.

Excellent hotel
Managed to get a half price deal through this site so gave it a go. Excellent value at that price, but I’m not sure I’d go back at the full rate as what you get is very nice but not particularly competitive for the area. I had booked one night but decided after the first night to stay again as the hotel offered the same deal to me. Rooms (I stayed in a different one the second night as I checked out and in again) were clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was superb :-)
1: When you leave, take the time to head left to the Cairngorm visitor centre and funicular railway - awesome views even if you’re not a skier and its less than 10 minutes away. 2: try a little bit of haggis with your scrambled egg in the morning Mmmmmm!
