Great Hotel for the Price
Good value hotel, bed and breakfast rate.Excellent situation, easy travel by foot, taxi and local transport to waterfront, city centre.Local minibuses cheapest and were great. Plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Area perfectly safe for sensible travellers. Staff really helpfull and friendly.3 bedded rooms in one area and atract school/student parties- who can be noisy. Great views, rotating restaurant worth a visit. Would go again
Traveller's tip on local attractions
There are warnings about safety but be sensible and you neednt be put off. Sea Point seemed a relatively safe area. Shop around for travel- hotel tourist office very helpful and no dearer than outside agencies. Local minibuses are cheapest and once you get the hang of them ( shout out where you want to get off) they are good fun.Much cheaper than taxis and more frequent than buses- but Sea Point does have buses - unlike some areas of Cape Town.

More or less what I expected from a 3 * hotel. Nothing special but nothing to put me off.
Enjoyed my stay. Bathroom was average and room TV quality was awful but I wasnt there to watch TV. Overall it was comfortable. Highlight was the revolving restaurant on the top foor - really nice and personal and views amazing. Food pretty good. Thoroughly recommended. Felt I was ripped off by tourist desk on the shark trip so make sure you negotiate or go to the office down the road offering same trips. Didnt have breakfast there so dont know about that.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Negotiate on tourist outings.

Not fancy but a good value for your money
None of my room requests were answered: Asked for high floor ocean view - got 5th floor swimming pool view. Asked for refabrished room - got and old room with uncloseable closet doors. Asked for a non-smoking room - got a smoking room. The walls are thin - I couls perfectly hear my next room neighbours. Breakfast was very nice. Good service.
Traveller's tip on dining
Revolving restaurant - good food, good view and very reasonable prices.
