Food and service at dinner and breakfast was TERRIBLE!
Stayed for one night whilst working in Arbroath. Check in was quick, swimming pool was clean and good size. Room was comfortable. Service in bar was good although a bit expensive. Evening meal was overcooked and dry and the service was that slow that we left our main meal plates on the table and walked away because we couldn’t be bothered waiting on our dessert. BREAKFAST was a disaster, the service was slow and the full scottish breakfast was the worst I have ever had and I stay in lots of hotels for business reasons. My collegue had to asked for his toast FOUR TIMES. My scrambled egg was un cooked and the bacon was low quality. The young Scottish boy who took our order wasn’t very welcoming. Overall I was completely embarassed at the level or service and poor quality of food for this four star hotel, especially as lots of American Tourist were there- what a terrible impression of our county.
Don’t eat here.

Value for money
Staff very friendly, room excellant, venue fantastic, not the busiest of towns, had to queue both mornings for breakfast, i say queue we were guided to a large leather sofa and had to wait no more than ten minutes while this seemed to annoy some of the guests we accepted it as it was a fantastic full breakfast and the only reason that there was a queue was because the deal was so good.

not impressed at all
Comforable hotel, great location, meal service really bad. Breakfast was near enough none exsistant. all new staff working at same time . 20 minute wait before being told what i ordered was not available.on the buffwt nothing wass being filled up and had to go look for glasses for juice.
