Staff was great
We stayed 2 different times with them on this trip the 1st 3 days they had no lift. when we got back the next week it was fixed. The staff was great to work with we speak very little French, their English was very good.
You have to see all the major sites. Get the underground metro info it will not only save time but money.

Small room but everything else great
Ok, the room was small even by Paris standards but we couldn’t fault anything else in this hotel. We had a fridge and a safe and the much-needed air conditioning was very efficient (maybe one advantage of a small room). All of the staff were very pleasant - try to speak at least a few words of French to them. Location very handy just 50 metres from Place d’Italie which has 3 metro lines to take you all over Paris without even changing trains. If you’re new to Paris you might want to stay nearer the sights but if you want to see another district this is a great spot - spoiled for choice for restaurants.

Good Hotel even with Renovations Being Made
We stayed at the hotel while it was being renovated. It looks like the lobby/bar will be really great when its finished. We enjoyed the location, very close to a main metro station. Only complaint would be don’t expect a wake up call, even if you request one - we asked for one all three days and never got one. Only reason this bothered me is the room doesn’t provide an alarm clock either, thank goodness for the cell phone alarm clock we set too. We would stay here again.
