great choice
Very good hotel in a wonderful location. I was very pleased and intend to return whenever I am in London.

good loation, poor quality
We had lowerst level room facing the alley way. There was excessive street noise including people, trash collection, etc. During our one week stay the floor was never vacuumed. The stairway had holes in the wall, holes in the carpet and smelled of mold. The toilet never flushed with a single pull of the lever. Great location with access to the Underground, train stations, theater district, and tourist destinations.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
But a multi-day underground pass rather than buying single use tickets.

Perfect!
I’d booked this hotel for its location and facilities and until we arrived, I hadn’t realised just what a perfect location it was-next door to Trafalgar Square and above Charing Cross Station. The only problem was they forgot to give us a wake up call that we’d booked for 5am. Fortunately we’d backed up with our mobiles but it would have been disastrous! The hotel was really clean, the rooms of a high standard and very spacious.
