Nice hotel

We attended a wedding reception at this hotel so decided to book there as well. Our room was very nice and clean. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel. I did not like having to pay to $10 to park. Also when we asked about the night life in Palo Alto at the front desk, they offered to take us to our destination. They asked how many in our party(4), we were charged $5 a person which I found weird. I assumed shuttles were free. But maybe due to the economy, things have changed. No big deal. Staff was friendly as well. Would stay there again!!

Just "Ok"

The front desk staff was not very friendly and seemed disgruntled at having to work that day. Be careful not to stay in the back side of the hotel overlooking the pool as that section is very shoddy and looked like a cheap motel. We went back to ask for a room in the tower but they have no rooms in the tower with two beds!! We finally settled on a room in the front of the hotel where we felt more secure. The room was basic, clean and the beds were comfortable. It did have a little counter and refrigerator and nice closet. The also supplied a nice little gauze bag with lavendar linen spray, ear plugs and eye covers. We did not eat there as we generally don’t care for hotel food unless in a more upscale property. Next time I think we will opt for the Westin Palo Alto which, for a few dollars more is a very nice hotel.
