Great stay!
Everything was more than we expected. Huge room and a very good bed. Would stay again if ever in that area.

clean, comfortable but dated
The hotel is great in that it has history for the 20’s and 30’s but the bathrooms are really out of date. All was clean and comfortable but towels needed to be replaced. The location was pretty far from phx and Scottsdale ares too. Its a place where you’d want to check in and just stay but there are some local chain restaurants close by and 3 little independant places with a short walk. Everything you do at the resort is a charge. The gym, the tennis... everything but hanging out at the pool.
Try the local restaurant, ’Postino’. Great place for wine and affordable food. 2 locations. We drove in from our resort, 30 minutes and glad we did. Its relaxed atmosphere. Loved it.

Ambience exceptional
The room, surroundings, pool, pool service, all A++++++. The only exception was the "4-diamond restaurant" - food OK but service slow and unprofessional. Nobody doing coffee refills at breakfast; the price was 4diamond but not the service.
