Great location, cosy room, a bit expensive
The hotel has a brilliant location right in the heart of the old town with all its tourist attractions and very near the ramblas, but at night my room was still quiet. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Room size was a little small although this is probably expected for this location. Layout in the room was good. The drainage in the sink wasn’t working properly but it was fixed promptly after I raised it. Decent sized flatscreen TV - only 1 english channel but you don’t come here to sit in the room. Perhaps a little expensive but the other 3* hotels in the area had similar prices.
The Aerobus from the airport goes to Placa Catalunya in about 30 - 40 minutes, is very frequent and only costs around 4 euros.

great hotel, great position.
the hotel was nice and quiet, lots of bars and places to eat on the doorstep. 2 mins from las ramblas. will go again.

Very poor service at the Rialto
We did not enjoy our stay at the Rialto, the corridor leading to our room had paper peeling, there was no hairdrier and we were given a very old broken one to use by the reception with no apology. There was a bulb missing in the bathroom which meant it was only half lit. We reported this on the Saturday morning and it was not repaired by the time we got back to our room at 6pm. There was a huge conference checking in and the hotel just could not be bothered with us. A very poor stay and level of service for what we paid for the hotel.
